We are delighted to announce final details of the first hvoss Talk Community Funding Network of 2021 – a not to be missed FREE event for anyone looking at future sustainability within the local community.
This FREE event will help to illustrate the importance of funding for projects as part of a wider menu of opportunities for not-for-profit organisations .
hear from a range of prominent local and national funders.
be inspired by stories local community representatives that have succeeded in gaining significant funding and resources for local services and charitable activities.
learn helpful tips from funders and sharing of good practice from both funders and local organisations .
network and make contacts with other colleagues and services in the community.
The event is for staff, volunteers, and trustees of Herefordshire community sector organisations including voluntary and community groups, registered charities, CICs, Social Enterprises and other third sector organisations.
Funding is just one aspect of a sustainable success. hvoss Talk Community will be launching a series of events exploring this in 2021.
We will be joined by –
Jeannie Cohen-Brand Census Engagement Manager at Office for National Statistics who will share some top tips in preparing a bid and around use of data and case study evidence in support of a bid.
Paddy Nugent Chief Operating Officer at E F Bulmer Trust will talk to us about the importance of bringing your funding application to life with real case studies.
Anthony Bush Funding Officer at The National Lottery Community Fund will share some insight into the application process for TNL Community Fund, with some examples of local Herefordshire projects.
Katie Eastaugh CEO at The Cart Shed who had funding success in 2020, despite pandemic restrictions. A good news story to inspire us to keep going!
